Sound familiar?

Twist it tighter, and it stays put.

Steep run coming up? Give the dial a turn on the chairlift. Stopping for lunch? Pull it up to loosen. No Velcro, no gloves off.

Unlike a plain sleeve, it won't stretch out or slide down by the afternoon.

The dial

Tighten it without taking your gloves off.

Clockwise to pull in, press and pull to release. One hand, through a ski glove, while the lift is still moving. Velcro straps need two bare hands and a flat surface — that's the whole reason people stop adjusting them halfway through the day.

→ Micro-clicks, so you can go a notch tighter for a steep pitch
→ Press-and-pull release for the lunch break
→ Steel cable, not nylon cord

Anatomy

Tap a point on the brace

13.8 in (35 cm) of knitted sleeve, 4.6 oz (130 g), no rigid hinge sticking out. It goes on before the ski pant and stays where you put it.

Who tends to buy one

Week-a-year skiers · 40+ knees with no injury, just day-three complaints · first-lift-to-last days · and the people who order one side, then come back for the other.

STRYDE is sportswear, not a medical device. It supports a healthy knee during activity. If you have an injury, a diagnosed condition, or pain at rest, talk to a physiotherapist or doctor first — a brace is not a substitute for that.

Size & fit

Measure over a thin base layer, standing, leg straight.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one — the dial takes up the slack, it can't create more room.

Putting it on

Pulling the STRYDE knee brace up over the knee

1 · Pull it up

Over a bare leg or thin base layer, kneecap centred in the opening.

The STRYDE dial sits on the outside of the leg

2 · Dial on the outside

The dial always sits on the outer side of the leg. That's why left and right differ.

Turning the STRYDE dial to tighten the brace

3 · Twist to fit

Snug, not tight. You should still slide a finger under the top band.

Questions

Something not covered here? Mail support@stryde-active.com — we answer within one working day.

Left or right — how do I know which?

The dial sits on the outside of the leg, so the two sides are mirrored and not interchangeable. Standing up, looking down: for your left knee, the dial sits on your left. Order the side you want to wear it on.

Will it fit under my ski pants?

Yes. 4.6 oz (130 g), 13.8 in (35 cm) long, no rigid hinge sticking out. Put it on before the pant, not over it.

Can I wear it all day?

That's what it's built for. Open the dial a few clicks on the lift or at lunch so circulation isn't restricted, then snug it back up.

Is this a medical brace?

No. STRYDE is sportswear that supports a healthy knee during activity. It is not a medical device and it does not treat injuries. With a diagnosed condition or pain at rest, see a physiotherapist or doctor first.

How do I wash it?

By hand, 30 °C, mild detergent. Open the dial fully first. Air dry — no machine, no dryer, no radiator.

Delivery and returns?

Free tracked delivery, 7–12 days. 30 days to return it unworn in the original box; we refund within 14 days of receiving it.

A day on the hill

A ski day, dialled in.

From the first chair to the last run, this is what the brace does.

  1. 9:00 · First lift

Dialled in before the first turn

Twist the dial on the chairlift, gloves on. Micro-clicks let you set it exactly as snug as you like.

  2. 11:00 · Moguls & steeps

Stays put when the run gets rough

Silicone grip strips and steel side springs keep it in place, so you're not hitching it up at the bottom of every run.

  3. 13:00 · Lunch break

    Press, pull, relax

Press and pull the dial to release it at the table. Breathable knit, so it's not a sweaty sleeve under your ski pants.

  4. 16:00 · Last run

    One twist, back on

Click it snug again and take the last run with your friends.
